Welcome to my website!

My name is Pake Melland, and I am a Postdoc at Southern Methodist University in the RTG focusing on modeling and computations for complex systems under the mentorship of Dr. Andrea Barreiro.  I completed my dissertation at the University of Iowa under the supervision of Dr. Rodica Curtu.

My research interests are in applied mathematics with a special interest in data-driven methods for the modeling and analysis of problems from biology.
